    When the Limo­ges porce­lain man­u­fac­tur­er J.L Coquet The “Rosace” col­lec­tion was cre­at­ed in asso­ci­a­tion with the most illus­tri­ous gold­smith of France Odi­ot … Fruit of the col­lab­o­ra­tion between the two man­u­fac­tur­ers, J.L Coquet wished to high­light this remark­able artis­tic her­itage from Odi­ot’s cen­turies-old archives. This work has brought to light sev­er­al emblem­at­ic dec­o­ra­tions of this house, includ­ing this grace­ful rosette, a sym­met­ri­cal fig­ure formed by curves inscribed in a cir­cle, more or less in the shape of a rose or a styl­ized star and par­tic­u­lar­ly used as a dec­o­ra­tive motif in the dec­o­ra­tive arts dur­ing the Empire.
